I've windows xp sp2 currently installed. its not an original version. but i've finally got the original cd of windows xp. but its of windows xp sp1. Now when i try to instal it, the installation process does not initiate. It says the windows version ur tryin to install is older than the installed version.
The original disk i have is not bootable disk. So i cant start the setup when the system boots initialle.
Can someone tell me how to restart xp in only ms dos mode? from there i can manage to run the setup. Otherwise i cant find any other way to remove this version n instal the original one.
Any idea how to start???
waiting for your reply.... thanks a lot
