Hi All, My DVD drive was working fine a month back, when I write data DVDs at 16x with 4GBs of data, it used to complete within 10 mins of time, I haven't written any DVDs for a while, when I was writing a DVD today , it almost took 55 mins to complete one disk and that too after writing the disk, it does not read at all. I see the DVD blank after I open it. In the case of writing DVD video file, I see all the when I open up the video for writing in nero vision , the video always asks for a DVD9 instead of DVD5. It never used to ask like this when I write a DVD video before. For this as well, it takes around 55 mins to complete writing excluding the encoding time. After writing and when I play the disk in my DVD player or my computer the voice is very very low. I remember not installing anything new software in my system I have LG SecureDisc DVD writer, I don't remember the model number , My operating system is windows XP with sp2, processor core2 due 2.2 GHz, RAM 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 and hard disk is 250 GB sata. and ny the way my DVD writer is IDE connected.
