Thanks. Most probably you are right, but I figured it wouldn't be impossible 
for them to sell the cases alone since they do sell the boards without cases. 

While you're at it, the original NUC power supplies would be nice too =).

At this stage, it doesn't have to be metal although the extra shielding 
wouldn't hurt. I will have a look at Ponoko but ideally we won't have to spend 
cycles on manufacturing cases... that was the whole point of using a well 
known one =).
