hey freeneters, (sent to clients and tech lists, but reply to clients as i am not subscribed to tech) for the impatient, the example interface is at http://www.kyvinh.f2s.com/freenet/intro.html What is the most cumbersome thing about freenet for the average (but so important) user? THE KEY TYPES! So i wanted to put up an interface by which they (and I) don't have to read through the freenet site or doc to get it to work. So I wanted to group the keys by features: CHK if possible KSK if you want to name the key SSK if it involves a collection of files (I missed the gossip on MSK so I may be a step late!) Put that way, key selection is easy, but that is where (in my humble opinion) users get lost, or just do not want to try out freenet (or inserting into freenet, resulting into poor network cache too). I made a little wizard-like inserter interface that could be implemented in FProxy (my favorite) at the address above. This kind of inserter would be more useful if it is used to insert multiple keys into freenet (bypassing scripts and homegrown solutions) Tell me if i am wrong, clueless or completely out of the picture. (I missed a lot of chapters of the freenet novel) anyway, KUDOS TO EVERY DEVELOPER!! _______________________________________________ freenet-tech mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.freenetproject.org/mailman/listinfo/tech
