well, i use 12 bit now. and even before fortunes2 is
scanned completely, i have 26255 words distributed over
3876 hashes (i need 4096 -- 12 bit)
it uses shortest possible word for a hash, just for now,
but this can be changed....

i actually wanted to elaborate everything more detailed, but the need to go
out for a cigarette made it impossible to sit in front of this terminal any
longer.
