File transfer that uses UDP. Does wonders for lossy high latency connections. Maybe this tech is something for a Freenet 2.0 UDP transport? Imagine Freenet nodes just routing the UDP packets and the reciever just telling the node to stop when it has enough data to reconstruct the request. Could make Freenet much faster.. It sounds cool anyway ;) From slashdot: http://www.eetimes.com/story/OEG20011211S0065 -- | Are rseth | [EMAIL PROTECTED] | http://ctemp.dhs.org/ | | tlf: 73886876 | mob: 410 00548 _______________________________________________ freenet-tech mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.freenetproject.org/mailman/listinfo/tech
