Is XML-RPC still supported by freenet, as in the documents found by a
google search on "XML-RPC Freenet"? These seem to reference a .4-ish era
freenet, and I couldn't find anything recent.

I tried to simply use the XML-RPC calls, but could not find sufficient
documentation on how to use the XML-RPC support to let me know how to
interpret the non-results I'm getting. Should the calls be directed at
port 8888, or the FNP port? What path should the calls be sent to?

I've tried just making a standard call to both the FNP (which seems
wrong, because it immediately closes the connection) and :8888, which
seems to sorta work, as the connection is not immediately terminated,
but I haven't yet got a document back. However, since I can't currently
get any documents from my Freenet node at all anyhow, though it was
working recently, I don't know if this is conclusive.

The load issue is seperate and I am working on it the same as everyone
else; this is not a request for help with that. My question is solely on
whether XML-RPC support is still being maintained, is current, and
whether anybody can point to helpful documents on the support, or,
ideally, examples of some kind.
