Freenet is as much a "filesharing network" than the Internet itself is
a "filesharing network". Is the Internet a "filesharing network"? (In
some sense - yes.) I've never heard anybody complaining about being the
Internet such a poor filesharing network.

Direct Connect uses the *Internet* to perform filesharing and there are
applications, e.g. Frost, using *Freenet* to perform filesharing. If
you don't like Frost, spend money or code.

But that's a big PRO of Freenet! Your data is available even if your
computer crashes and even if you got hit by a bus and even if someone
