Now, no doubt some will call me a troll again, but may I point out we
already *have* a wiki, at www.freenethelp.org.

Maybe people would know this, if a link was provided on the 'new
wiki'...something I did some time ago, but Ian, being infantile as usual,
always removed. (I of ourse, left a link to the new wiki on my own wiki,
because I'm of the opinion that it's the job of these sort of wiki's to HELP
people, period. If they can't find what they are looking for on one, they
should be able to go to another. But, apparently, some ego's think
differently).

And, btw, since this latest incarnation of the new wiki is independend of
sourceforge...why the heck wasn't the already available wiki not used? Or
why did no one bother to ask if they could use the domainname and copple
that to this new wiki?

The only viable reason would be to have two independend wiki's, so that when
one goes down (as has happend), the other is still around - sort of backup,
thus.

But then again, maybe one should check the other wiki out, now and then, if
that is the idea?

"> Has there been any success recovering pages from archive.org?

No, none."

*Me rolls eyes*

If anyone would take the trouble, one could see I have copied the Freenet
0.7 FAQ of the new wiki (weeks ago) and put them on the www.freenethelp.org
wiki.
I don't think there was much else on there, back then, but I'll check my
server for it (would help if someone could give me some titles of lost
pages, though).

Now, aren't you glad I don't suffer from an ego that says: Oh, they don't
care about the already existing wiki, well fuck them! ;-)
