I have decided to shelve publish/subscribe for now. I don't think IRC over Freenet is essential to better communication between users and devs; and p/s is a monster. That doesn't mean we won't do it in future, but not _now_. I will continue to monitor Frost from time to time (the freenet board mostly).
I propose to implement: - Splitfiles. - SSKs. - FCPv2. - Basic web interface. - Easy interface to add people to the darknet. - Implement the open-net and basic hybrid routing. - Use I2P's low-level connection/auth/retransmission code for link-level security. We will then have essentially an internal (i.e. non-slashdotted) alpha. There will be plenty more to do, of course; trivial stuff such as config, and some harder stuff. Future stuff includes premix routing and 1:1 tunnels (both probably by means of tighter I2P integration), which will probably be after 0.7.0, or at least after the first public beta. -- Matthew J Toseland - toad at amphibian.dyndns.org Freenet Project Official Codemonkey - http://freenetproject.org/ ICTHUS - Nothing is impossible.
