I've been running two 0.7 nodes: one in school with the node references being shared with token friendship and trust, and one at home connected only to the school computer.
For a little while, my home node FProxy gave the status of the school node as "Backed off" or some such and I was unable to retrieve files from Freenet. At the same time, though, the school node FProxy claimed to be "Connected" to my home node. Can someone please explain backoff to me? Is there a way to tell my school node to be more tolerant of my home node --- or do I need to tell my home node to be more accepting of the school node? Thanks, --Joel
