"Binary blobs" was the original proposal's name. What it is is a bunch of node-level keys exported to the client for transport between networks (insert your favourite site to a disconnected darknet), or for verifiability (verify that a freenet update, or a revocation cert, really is signed by the SSK it's supposed to be signed by; this is why binary blobs are needed for update over mandatory). -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
