ciphire = opportunistic encryption email proxy? I absolutely agree that freemail is important, we need somebody to fix it ASAP. Having said that, Frost works now, and supports private boards etc.
W.r.t. Martus: Firstly, as you are probably aware, Freenet is inherently unreliable. Data below a certain popularity level will eventually expire (unless its popularity improves by it being reinserted, or nodes asking for it). However, I still think Freenet could be a useful piece of technology for such purposes... I'm not sure exactly what functionality will be most useful yet though. It may be that Freenet 0.8's expanded functionality will be a prerequisite for many such apps.
