Secondly, my SoC subject has for main goal to create an app making easy to insert and download files. If I have time, I will try to work on insertion speed, but I don't want to make false promises :/ In any case, imho, insertion speed is not the most important problem: Freenet is not made to allow to share copyrighted materials. So big file insertions should not happen often, and so I don't think insertion speed is a real priority (but I agree, it's a problem). Now, most of freenet users have a permanent node, and if I correctly understood FCP documentation, a client application can, after starting an insertion, be disconnected without interrupting the insertion, right ?
