involved in the in the European Union financed CyberVote Project http://www.eucybervote.org CyberVote has just installed a public discussion forum at their web site. I have taken the liberty to put Ed's latest non-technical description of the California test in that forum as well as notifying the Swedish e-demokrati mailing list (which has the cream of the crop in e-democracy Sweden as members - many social science research types as well as technical). Do hope that IVTA considers membership in the CyberVote Special Interest User Group in order to stay informed on progress here in Europe. Would also, in my opinion, be appropriate for link trades to applicable web sites to facilititate "army" information gathering. Best if the formal contacts go through Stephan BRUNESSAUX of EADS Matra Systèmes & Information of France, the project director.
