Yes, no one should use rsh, etc. I get it. That aside: Hopefully you have no need for RSH/rhosts authentication on the Solaris side. Solaris + rsh + rhosts auth is why we couldnt use OpenLDAP. Linux handled things nicely, though. - Pat
