Portland is hosting this year's USENIX conference. One of the
presenters -- Aleksey Tsalolikhin, [email protected] --
made us Portland locals an outstanding offer to introduce us to
Cfengine version 3 the weekend following this year's USENIX
conference.

If you'll be in Portland that weekend, please stop by. There is no
charge.
Galois' offices are locked, and on the weekends the building elevators
require a combination to reach the third floor. So we'll meet in the
lobby between 9:15 and 9:30 and then I'll escort everyone to the
office. I haven't figured out arrangements for dealing with people who
are unavoidably delayed.
Since it's a morning meeting, I'll note the local coffee shops:
* Starbucks (in our building), at 6th and Washington
* Peet's, just around the corner at Broadway and Washington
We're right on the transit mall, two blocks north of Pioneer
Courthouse Square, so it's quite easy to reach our building by train
or bus.
There's some on-street parking in the area, but it's sometimes hard to
find an open spot even on Saturday mornings. In that case, there's a
parking garage just across Washington from our office, though its
entrance is on Alder, between Broadway and 6th.
