IE 8 should be fine. I would only be concerned if you had IE 6 or older. Try this: Go into Internet Options. Delete all the offline content. Also go to Advanced. Scroll down about a page from the bottom, there's a checkbox "Empty Temporary Internet files when browser is closed." This checkbox should be enabled on every windows machine. Over time, the infinitely growing pile of cached files becomes useless and also harmful.
