I used to build myself custom install CDs in order to slipstream service
packs.  At that point I used to extract RAID drivers and put them on on the
CD and modify the needed TXTSETUP.OEM or whatever file as well...but I can't
find those instructions anymore.  However, when SATA became popular for
desktops a bunch of tools came out that accomplished this graphically, the
one I like was nLite which seems to support Windows Server now too.  Check
