Google-fu failing.

Anyone ever seen route(8) on a Mac display a route with the '&'
character in it? 128.0&0x96000000 as a "UCSc" route (and I can use the
man-page and decode those flags, done) on en1 (the wifi).

If that is a netmask, the non-contiguous set bits are certainly
interesting.

We're pretty sure it was left behind by a VPN client, with something
like "laptop put to sleep with VPN running". Attempts to _delete_ the
route have failed. Turning off airport and a "route flush" failed, and
I wish I had the error message captured to report here; something about
an rlen of -1, I think.

Checking a FreeBSD route.c didn't show anything that would have reported
a route with an '&' in it.

We opted to reboot in the end, with much grumbling on the part of the
affected person. At this point, I just want to understand what this
is/was.

Thanks,
-Phil
