I've got some spare 2824s in the office;  I'll look at how much effort it 
is to reverse the fans.   I need to setup a network bench system so I can
you know, netperf it 24x7 or something in the hot office and see at what
point it fries.  

Also, I don't have the switch here, but I don't remember
anything that looks like the air vent on the front of the switch;  just
the side and the back.  I dono how the heat coming out the sides instead
of the back is going to change things within the rack, but if I remember 
correctly, we've got a good rack-top fan that should mostly take care
of that, but it will require watching.
