All, I'm looking for suggestions/feedback on rack management software. The basic problem I want to solve is tracking what hardware is installed in what rack and colo. I'd rather stick with an open source web product. The commercial products all seem to want to be your CMDB and take over your environment.
I just want something lightweight, that has the ability to import objects and location info. Rack Tables seems like it is usable, but I haven't look at importing info. Any suggestions?
