Another nice option is the Sophos UTM Home Edition firewall, http://www.sophos.com/en-us/products/free-tools/sophos-utm-home-edition.aspx Sophos UTM is a full commercial firewall, application security and VPN appliance. The home edition includes all the features, and supports up to 50 devices. It can do multiple ISP uplinks with load sharing and automatic failover. Mine is also configured to support VPN connections into my house, and it maintains a VPN tunnel between my house and a friend's house. You can build your own box to run it on.
