I guess misread what you have but: -----
Check out the OBi110 by Obihai Technologies.... the only model from Obihai that has a line port. I had originally gotten it thinking similar here.... configure Broadvoice as VoIP service and then connect line out to a bluetooth cellular gateway, so I can call out on a cellphone if my VoIP service is down or the power is out. Something my old Sipura 3000 ATA would do. However, from what I read in the forums, it has a relay to switch to line out for power outage, but not if the Internet is out. Though I just came across a site with of somebody using the trunk groups feature of the device to do this: http://www.toao.net/510-obi110-how-to-use-pots-if-voip-or-internet-is-down I'll have to try it myself when I find some time.... My Sipura 3000 died a while back, so I was missing having POTS backup (but I have since switched to naked DSL....before it was the only reason I had POTS.) But, I'm still using the PAP2 that I switched to since then. ----- It says there's capability for voice service bridging between its physical line out port and its logical VoIP services (as well as its OBiTALK network), they also have an attendant capability. ----- Original Message ----- > I've got a home asterisk system set up with a few ATAs that link > traditional handsets into the VoIP system.
