So far doing a disk image backup/restore has left me with a 100GB partition
that can't be resized, when it will boot at all.
Maybe not the best, but could you install linux on the 1tb, and then run a
p2v and perhaps run the windows xp in a virtualbox or other environment?
I actually tried running iTunes under VirtualBox a while back. The USB
passthrough is pretty good, but not quite good enough to deal with the
wackiness that iTunes does when talking to an iPhone. I wish I could just
run under VirtualBox.

It's not what I know that counts.
It's what I can remember in time to use.
