I am setting up an acer aspire with xubuntu and xfce. All is well but I am looking for the tips to get the screen correct out the HDMI connection to my Flat Panel HiDef LCD. It is there but the panel is off the screen and no matter what I set the resolution to or change the settings on the picture type I never see the panel. I am told there is a fix for this but as of yet i have not found the right set of words in google to find it.
