There are several reasons you can't share files with each other (or yourself) using Truecrypt in dropbox or anything like it... I spent a lot of time working in this area and concluded there was nothing satisfactory, so I started a company specifically for this purpose, and here it is: Synctuary, Secure Cloud File Synchronization for Business http://conceptblossom.com/ Presently we have the server/client solution available, which is secure if you operate it in your private environment. We are scheduled to release the client-side encryption feature this summer, which would make it safe to operate in an untrusted cloud environment such as Amazon or whatever. Until that feature is released, a 3rd party filesystem layer encryption product could be used to secure the server in a public cloud. Synctuary is always free for up to 3 users. We are running a promotion throughout this summer, $1 per user for a year. _______________________________________________ Tech mailing list [email protected] https://lists.lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tech This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
