I have not been involved in this issue.
I did not know Dell had their own VMware version.
HBA's - Both Emulex and Qlogic fiber cards. VMware verbally acknowledged they
have issues in their virtual HBA driver, but refused to put anything in
writing.
One symptom is that the disks just disappear for a while. Guests get upset.
They did blame the SAN, said it was over worked. SAN was swapped for a lightly
used one. Issue remained.
I'm also going to check into the kernel watchdog settings.
Yes, latest firmware has been applied.
