Sort of... Time in a VM is a relative thing... The problem is that the timer interrupt is virtual. It is not locked in step with an oscillator. The kernel tries to figure out these missed/late interrupts and make adjustments. The NTP daemon thinks the local clock is going haywire. Add "tinker panic 0" to your VM ntpd instance. http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1006427 -- Mr. Flibble King of the Potato People http://www.linkedin.com/in/RobertLanning _______________________________________________ Tech mailing list Tech@lists.lopsa.org https://lists.lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tech This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
