For ad hoc sysadmin commands, I use shmux (I have a tiny script that hooks it into our host lists/groups to make it easy to run commands on bunches of machines). For things that are more batch-type jobs, I use GridEngine. The Fedora guys have a thing called 'func' which seems quite promising as well - https://fedorahosted.org/func/ _______________________________________________ Tech mailing list [email protected] http://lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tech This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
