Hi guys,

I've got a user with a locked up Xvnc session. Some client X program
has done (I think) an XGrabPointer() call, and has locked up his
display and won't release it.

I want to kill the proper window, without losing the rest of his
session if at all possible. The xkill tool just won't run (even as
root) because it can't grab the mouse. Duh. I just wish I could tell
which windowID has the grab.

We're running realvnc 4.1.3 on a Solaris 8 box. I know exactly which
X display it is, I can list all the windows with xlswins and look at
them with xwinfino, but I don't see any thing useful in there at all.

Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do, beyond just killing
random windows?

Should I just kill the most recent window id returned by xlswins?

Thanks,
John
