I give this advice all the time.  I don't think it can be said loudly
or often enough.

Too many users of data don't bother to think about what's in that
data, and equate the cost of data with the cost of storage.  The cost
of data is more than the cost of storage, and the trend is
accelerating.

Destroy your data!  (As much as possible)
