Bit late a reply, but FWIW: also make sure you get some really good hardware. Don't try to go down the cheap nvidia-type motherboard route, but invest into serverworks chipsets or similar. I always build asterisk myself rather than using trixbox, because I found that sooner-or-later your users want something exceptional done, which trixbox doesn't do out-of-the-box, and then it's quite time-consuming to do it. Particularly, if you handle lots of tech-support calls, there is lots of room to do 'cool stuff' with asterisk, like automatically bring up the callers' account details/open tickets up on the agents screen, etc...
