types with smtpd,
there can now be three of them:
1. bsdauth
2. authentication through program execution
3. authentication using plugin -- dlopen

I'll look into it Friday as I am swamped right now, but I don't like
much this idea as 2) and 3) can be achieved through 1) in my opinion
but I'll wait until I read your diff to comment.
WRT poolp.org, things should be back to normal now, since I can read
your mail and reply to it ;-)
