It looks like BCM57765 would also be a useful test for the conditionals. Doesn't look there are many BCM5717 around; not in dmesglog or http://www.nycbug.org/?action=dmesgd anyway, but there are a small number of 57765. I'll try and get it on some other bge's but it doesn't look like it should affect them.
