Just in case anyone else cares about low-end performance, look closely. This is a managed TX interrupt moderation. As Darren shows, it produces significant benefit for the CPUs often paired with these low-end chips. Any other tulip-like chip, or other fast E chip that has a per-packet interrupt disable bit should be looked at.
