I think the commit message is pretty clear. Basically the subset of people who want this re-enabled must put in time and effort to bring the kerberos linkage in ssh back to a level that others can trust. I have heard a few complaints that this is disabled, but I've not heard from a single person who wants to invest that effort. What is there now cannot be trusted. It is below the standard we expect in ssh. It is a maze of crap. If you want software that "does what I want, and I don't care if it has hidden problems"; this is a place that sloppy standard should not exist...
