Very cool. I've given it a try now on some limited hardware. Basic suspend and hibernate restore the keyboard encoding. If I suspend or hibernate from the console, the keyboard encoding I had selected is restored. However, neither suspend nor hibernate seem to mix with tmux. If I suspend or resume from within tmux, the keyboard encoding reverts back to "us" and it stays that way with subsequent suspends or resumes. Setting it with wsconsctl, suspeding/resuming again, and setting it again with wsconsctl then gets the settings to stick for further suspends or hibernates. Plain unplugging and replugging the keyboard loses the encoding still. [snip] > Is this the behaviour you would like to get? [snip] Yes, that is the descripion of pretty much what I was looking for in this context of use. I'll also look at hotplugd as was suggested. Regards, /Lars
