Got fed up of the nth report "flavors are broken". The cause is always the same: for packages to build correctly, your setup *must* propagate some env variables thru sudo during the fake/packaging stage.
So, I finally added up a variable that's there just to trigger an error in case your setup is not squeaky clean. Accordingly, be sure to integrate the latest sudoers modification (coming to a snapshot + sysmerge near you soon), and you get a fairly explicit clue from bsd.port.mk now... Error: sudo does not let env variables through
