It does? That must be something "american" or "english" -- it doesn't matter for me: I'm not talking for my (ex-)employer but only as an individual. In my "country of origin" I've never encountered that kind of "association"... And I was reluctant to mail this as I was afraid someone would leave the "tech" level (despite the name of the list). I don't see the point in that, so I won't reply to this anymore.
