yes, my scenario is:
Alix (i386) with vr0 and vr1.
vr0 connected to my ISP modem as always with:
cat /etc/hostname.vr0
dhcp
So far so go on boot time with #507 snapshot (Nov 13), after upgrade to
#572 (Dec 6 or 7th) the dhclient for vr0 start to fail something like
this:
pf enabled
net.inet.ip.forwarding: 0 -> 1
starting network
vr0: no link................................................... sleeping
Plus, after this, pf fail to load rules on each line with $ext_if (vr0)
so my gateway fails and no interwebz for gonzalo.
Doing some basic test with my setup found out that if I boot -s and do
dhclient vr0 works just fine, wihtout problems like always.
So far my workaround to this issue is:
cat /etc/hostname.vr0
dhcp
!/sbin/dhclient vr0

; gonzalo@ has seen similar on vr(4) starting recently, but the timing
; doesn't quite match yours.

; His old (working) kernel was i386 #507 snapshot (Nov 13) and he's seeing
; problems in #572 (Dec 6 or 7th) which is a bit earlier than yours.

; Might be a different cause, of course...
