FWIW if individual diffs are not going to be reviewed one-by-one in the
open, I'd rather suggest to invite more people to mail exchange with
Christos, get everything to NetBSD, and then commit everything back as a
huge diff.  Then local changes (diffs rejected by Christos) should
follow as individual patches.  You might argue that individual diffs are
more transparent in project's history; I'd say that if we are not going
to replicate NetBSD's commit history of libedit from now on, syncing
should be done in single commit, so that our changes won't get
interleaved with upstream development.
