I'm in agreement with Claudio. Fair enough. At least two developers consider the screen splitting feature useful, and we rarely delete established functionality that people actually use. So instead, i just improved the documentation, in particular stopping the abuse of [], without deleting any functionality and without deleting any information from the manual page. Yours, Ingo
