That's pretty awesome!  Thanks for testing the diff.

As is, I don't think the patch should be incorporated.  I've made up a
product name (the "product HP USB2SER 0x3524 Prolific uplcom" part of
the diff).  That should be improved first.  Do you have a model name
for this HP product?  Any additional stickers that help identify it?
A URL from the HP website for this product?

My description is now very generic, we should try to improve that
before asking people with commit access to put it in.

Note though that it'll only be in OpenBSD from that day, and won't be
backported to 6.3.  That means that, if you want to keep running the
released version (i.e. no snapshots), you'll have to keep your
self-compiled kernel until 6.4 comes out.
