Thanks for committing it. You know, having seen fgetln's allocation strategy and its usage of the stdio internals, I couldn't help but wonder if it's something that could be eventually removed entirely. It's used in a bunch of places in-tree for sure, but not too many to convert, I think; and I've already done a few... It's not exactly a serious suggestion at this point; I realize there probably is third-party software too that uses this function (Linuxes provide compat for it in libbsd; there must be a reason for that).
