nand1 from irc told me it's already written later in the page. <p> If you are updating a source tree that you initially fetched from a different server, or from a tar file, you <b>must</b> add the <em>-d [cvsroot]</em> option to cvs. not sure if this could be moved under "Updating an existin tree", this would make more sense to tell this before people need it
