Lots of ThinkPads such as X220, X230, T420, T430, etc. have excellent support for both coreboot and OpenBSD.
I'm using an X230 with coreboot and SeaBIOS using the linear framebuffer; disabling inteldrm(4) on this machine makes efifb(4) attach and graphics work, however I have never tested it more thoroughly.
