JOB TITTLE: C# Software Engineer LOCATION: Greenbelt, MD DURATION: * *6 Months Job Requirements This position is for a C# Software engineer. Strong C/C++/C# experience is necessary for this position that will support the development and unit testing of applications for Census Programs. Experience with software development and COTS integration lifecycle is required. Visual Studio.netand GUI development experience is a plus. Candidate must be flexible, have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work and learn independently, and well as on a team. Shows initiative, is a self-starter, able to handle multiple priorities and has excellent time management skills. *Period of Performance Schedule* This position will require excellent oral and written communication skills to interface with the LM team and customer test representatives on a daily basis. Overtime and weekend work will be required from time to time for this project. Other traits desired: Highly organized, proactive, self starter, quick learner, goal oriented, team player, mission oriented, delegates decisively. *Required and Desired Skills* The individual must have skills in the following areas: Strong interpersonal skills Teamwork Flexible Self starter Initiative Independent learner C#/C/C++ SW Dev lifecyle COTS Integration Multitasking Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
