Hi,
This error is basically the connection to the Oracle server is ended or
timeout or become stale. There are multiple reasons for this. The network may
be broken, Some big query runs in the applciation which makes the Oracle
connection timeout. You can check if you are able to connect to the same oracle
DB with SQLPlus or TOAD just to test is that DB accessable from your machine.
Otherwise the server may be restarted or shutdown sometimes.
