Core Java with NIO needed for Stamford, CT
Duration: Long term
Location: Stamford, CT
*Face to face interview is MUST*
The job descriptions are as follows:
*UBS* requirements for Core Java position
- Strong in Socket programming , good understanding of different
protocols ( UDP, TCP)
- Very strong in Data Structure, Algorithms, Sorting , Hashing (
different hashing algorithms other than just HashMap)
- Strong understanding of how to used Java 5 NIO ( Non Blocking IO)
e.g.; how to multiplex I/O channels,
Handles *NIO* low level *events*: NIO Channel selector
reduce the number of threads required for efficient concurrent I/O
operations
- Good understanding of Gang of Four Design patterns ( not
mandatory but nice to have )
*Prefer candidates coming from C++ background*
*The second position (Java support): *
Good understanding of Java fundamentals,
but slanted more towards technical analysis, application debugging using
Perl scripts, shell scripting,
documenting the technical problems or application issues.
